The repetitive arrangement of the university logo into a floral pattern embraces the flora and fauna surrounding IIUM, depicting its motto “the Garden of Knowledge and Virtue”. Colours: The design combines the official colours of the university, Turquoise and Gold, with the Pantone colour of the year 2023, Viva Magenta. Viva Magenta is brave and fearless, a pulsating color that promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration that writes the beginning of a new narrative.
