Tan Sri Dato' Paduka Raja has made a significant contribution to intellectual, social, and educational development which deserve due recognition from various communities, including the intellectual community and educational institutions like the International Islamic University Malaysia. Intellectual The roles of Orang Besar Daerah Gombak are significant in linking the Kulliyyah activities to the Gombak context. In fact, the direction of academic activities in the Gombak Project was conceptualised after several discussions between the Kulliyyah and the Honourable Tan Sri. He has taken various initiatives to address psychosocial phenomena, including sourcing the assistance of university academics to help him in identifying the causes of the phenomena. He believes that adequate information is needed in the development of objectively structured programmes to change the perception of the world towards the roles of mosques. This has driven the AHAS KIRKHS to conduct initial research to identify the extent and types of psychosocial issues taking place in the district of Gombak. Tan Sri has provided vital direction and local knowledge for the Kulliyyah Management team, leading to a number of locally relevant synergised academic projects in the Kulliyyah. As a result, there has been a good connection between academic activities and community members in Gombak. His wisdom has, to a good extent, empowered the academics and students, and the community to acquire the knowledge and skills needed in becoming good members of society, and in turn, attain well-being in their current lives and hereafter.
