IIUM Press | Report 2019 28 Malaysian Scholarly Publishing Council (MAPIM) Malaysian Scholarly Publishing Council (MAPIM) is the fellowship body under the auspices of the Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi (JPT), Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) established to empower the scholarly publication in Malaysia. MAPIM members consist of the publishers of public universities and scholarly publishers of non-public universities. This Council is responsible to coordinate the activity, develop and improving the publishing activity, and manage the Anugerah MAPIM-KPM award annually. Director IIUM Press was appointed as the MAPIM Treasurer for the period of 3 years effective from January 2019. The treasurer is responsible to coordinate and manage the MAPIM Trust account for the activities, programme and expenditure organized by the members. Treasurer also responsible to prepare and reported the annual expenditure to the committee members.
